EggMonkey Code of Conduct

EggMonkey players must be friendly and positive.

The EggMonkey mission is to deliver football fun to the community, and this is built on the foundation of good vibes, friendly play and respect, as well as a zero-tolerance policy for abuse and misconduct.

By participating in this group and in any session and being a member, you agree to abide completely and unconditionally by the following:

Be honest and practice fair play.
Be respectful and nice to others.
Even if you want to win, it's better to accept losing the game and conceding goals respectfully and encourage your teammates when they make mistakes rather than blaming or criticising them.
Don't take yourself or the game too seriously, and if you have a difference of opinion with an opponent then it's better to accept that you could be wrong, and things might not always go your way.
It's football at the end of the day, and we're here to have fun not to hurt others.
Football is a game of respect, friendship, and good vibes, and prioritise the good vibes and light-hearted nature of the event above the desire to win and come out on top.
Arrive punctually at the meeting time.
Inform the session supervisor in advance if you are running late.
Conduct yourself as per Laws of The Game.
Be respectful, friendly, and co-operative to session supervisor, teammates, and opponents.
Retrieve any balls kicked out of the pitch immediately and return them at the end of the session to the supervisor.
Return your bib to the supervisor at the end of the session.
Communicate directly and early with staff to ensure you provide notice and obtain approval to not attend the session if the session is the same day as cancellation/ not attendance.
Pay your fees on time and schedule- £5 if arriving before 8:00pm for the game, £6 if arriving after 8:00pm.
If you don't attend a booked game, £5 is due and to be paid on the game day before midnight next day.

By participating in this group and in any session and by being a member, you agree to not do the following:

Leave a session without an appropriate reason and without notifying the supervisor.
Arrive late or fail to attend without an appropriate reason and without notifying the supervisor in advance.
Frequently arriving late, leaving a session early or failing to attend without supervisor's permission.
Conduct yourself with abusive language or behaviour, including but not limited to the use of abusive language or verbal tone or physical tone, engage in aggressive or violent verbal or physical conduct.
Spit at or near anyone.
Arrive or play intoxicated by alcohol or illegal substances or consume any on the venue's site.
Use excessive or inappropriate force or physical contact in the context of the act of playing football, particularly in tackles, which includes but is not limited to the use of 'slide tackling' and shoulder barging, pushing, pulling.

Sanctions! (this is where it could get ugly 😢)

Please don't do any of the below – we hate to have to do this!

WARNING for

Making negative remarks or acting frustrated and fed up with another member or player repeatedly or excessively.
Winding up, frustrating or upsetting others.
Making dangerous challenges or footballing conduct.
Arriving late or leaving the game early, particularly without prior agreement and notification.
Not being co-operative, friendly and respectful of the participants and the supervisors.

YELLOW CARD (2 Warnings or direct yellow card) for

Frequently, heavily or excessively criticising, pressurising or negatively remarking towards anyone, arguing, badgering or blaming or verbally abusing a participant or supervisor.
Leaving early, arriving late or failing to attend without prior notification and agreement of the supervisor and a good reason as deemed by the supervisor, not by yourself. Dropping out of a session on the afternoon or evening on the day of the game – any time after 12:00pm on the game day - or failing to attend the game without agreement of the supervisor or management (in which case your booking fee will still pay due regardless of whether your place was subsequently filled or not, and the fee is due by midnight of the game day missed.
Making a dangerous tackle, challenge, or physical contact with another player e.g. studs in the air, a malicious, reckless or dangerous tackle including a sliding tackle, making contact to other player rather than the ball, shoulder barging into a wall, fence or to the floor, pushing or pulling and so forth, inciting conflict or violence, verbal or physical misconduct of any sort.

RED CARD (1 Red Card or 2 Yellow Cards) which is a one-month suspension for

Verbally or physically misconduct including but not limited to abusing, disrespecting, intimidating, threatening, or assaulting another participant or the supervisor.
Being non-compliant with the EggMonkey's Code of Conduct, Terms of Use, or the venue's policies and guidelines.
Cancellation on the day of the game or not showing up for a game without prior notification and agreement of the supervisor and a good reason as deemed by the supervisor not the member.

PERMANENT BAN will be issued for, but not limited to the following misconduct:

Verbal abuse or misconduct to a supervisor or a member.
Make any verbal or physical threats to a supervisor or a member.
Physical assault, physical misconduct any violent, dangerous, reckless or malicious behaviour particularly where not deemed self-defence.
Receiving one or more red card offence.
Gross disregard, lack of courtesy and etiquette and communication in general, and particularly where the member has arrived late or left early in a session without the supervisor's approval or where the member has failed to attend a booking.
Being non-cooperative, argumentative or disrespectful to the session supervisor.

Terms

The session supervisor and EggMonkey has the unconditional and total right to issue warnings, sanctions, yellow cards, red cards and permanent bans without dispute or appeal of the member.
Warnings, sanctions, and permanent ban may be issued on site of venue, in real time, or retrospectively during or after the session.
Warnings, sanctions, yellow and red card offenses are added up together during the member's lifetime and do not have expiration unless stipulated by an EggMonkey supervisor.
EggMonkey records, produces, edits and publishes pictures, images and videos of the members into private, public and social online and other domains. These items are used for football highlight production and publication, sponsorship endorsement, product placement, social media, marketing and advertising purposes and by being a member you provide your unconditional and full consent to EggMonkey using your image and likeness for any and all of the aforementioned indications uses, and if you are 16 or 17 years of age your parent or legal guardian's consent is implied and provided by your participation and membership in EggMonkey's service, and they are aware and agreed unconditionally to EggMonkey's Code of Conduct, Terms and the use of your image, likeness and video recording for its commercial purposes.
You will not participate in EggMonkey if you are under 16 years of age and will inform EggMonkey supervisors if you entered the group but are under 16 years old so you may be informed that you are not eligible and will respectfully be removed thereupon.
If you have any significant or serious health issues endangering yourself, another member, the supervisor or EggMonkey you will notify the supervisor and will refrain from participating until and unless it is medically safe to do so, as per formal certification by a trained and qualified health professional.
